Pricing Strategy

Artists often provide a variety of original works at different price levels. By including more affordable options, they make their art accessible to buyers with limited budgets, which in turn boosts their visibility.

My goal is to enhance my credibility and foster strong relationships with current and potential buyers, maintaining consistency and transparency in my pricing strategy, while avoiding significant price differences between similar works.

This approach helps me build trust and a solid reputation among my buyers and collectors who appreciate clear pricing. Additionally, it supports a positive relationship with galleries with whom I may wish to collaborate.

My pricing strategy utilises the linear inch method, enabling me to calculate costs efficiently while factoring in the quality of the media used. By measuring my artwork in linear inches, I can maintain a fair and transparent pricing structure that accurately reflects the value of my artwork.

This approach takes my hourly rate into account, allowing me to offer high-quality artwork at competitive prices, ensuring clarity and consistency across my collections.

Original or print?

A One of One Print

This is the only print copy and closely mirrors the original artwork. It incorporates additional embellishments made by me that are not seen on my original. These may include the use of gilding, crackle glaze, charcoal, or the addition of collage, for example. These embellishments serve to enhance the original and make the print truly unique.

Priced at a premium compared to standard prints, it comes with a certificate of authenticity to ensure value.

A Limited Edition Print

Limited Edition Prints are reproduced in small quantities, increasing their exclusivity and worth. The number of prints can vary from as few as 10 to as many as 500, with the guarantee that no further reproductions of the image will be made. This assurance keeps each piece unique and highly desirable among collectors and art enthusiasts. More affordable than a One of One Print, each is given a unique number to denote the serial number and the total number in the print run.

Dorothy's Tribute

Alcohol ink on canvas 60cm x 60cm, unframed

We were looking for a painting to brighten up a dark corner and as soon as we saw this, we knew it would be just right. The back story to the painting being a tribute to the artist's mother made us feel as though we were also buying a part of the artist's memories. Such a treasure. Thank you

"Thank you so much for my painting. You have really captured the Mediterrean village of Sète and its harbour. The use of gold makes everything pop. It is so striking. I absolutely love it."

"Such a moody and expressive little painting that captured me the moment Isaw it. It looks like one could get lost in the forest with no way home. Love it!"
